A Korean Lunch and an American Dinner

Because I was super busy at work, I didn't have the time to eat lunch so I headed to the nearest mall when I went out of the office. I wanted to eat at a fastfood chain but my hunger made me feel my craving for kimchi this time. Oyeah, ze 'kimchi'. Most people hate it because of its taste and smell and I can relate because I hated it before too. But after having a meal in Kimbob, tasting it for the fourth time, my taste buds changed.

I am a meat lover so I had a Kimchi Fried Rice with Beef and I added a separate order of kimchi.

I headed to my friend's house to conduct a Bible study and she asked me to go out for a dinner with her husband and son after it. Her son is a picky eater. Contrary to what most kids like, her son prefers veggies than meat and she was having a hard time convincing him that meat is important to be a healthy kid. I was like, 'I am obsessed with meat when I was a child and I hate veggies' and she rolled her eyes to me in agreement.

Anyway, we headed to Racks (SM Fairview Branch.
One thing I hate the most is when the crews are unfriendly. Anyway, the food there's good so just don't mind the crews. Hehe =p

So I had this heavy (as much as I'd like to eat light meals at night) dinner!

The presentation's a bit disappointing but neve rmind it because the food is awesome. Mind you, I super love the sauces (regular combined with the extra hot one).

I fell in love with the Brocolli and Cheese...

...but got disappointed with the Pasta Salad because it's a bit hard, it feels a bit uncooked to me.

And I love the Brewed Iced Tea too. ^^

Went home late and fetched by a very nice guy. =p

Coffee After a Movie

People say that I am such a wanderer. I don't know, I just sometimes don't like the feeling of going home while there's still light from the sun so I usually go home at night even if my work finishes at 2PM. However, my meet ups are mostly unplanned (because nothing happens when you plan things sometimes). So I sometimes wonder why my schedule is always tight. Having so many friends? Haha! (kidding)

This time is family time, though. I have this cousin who is super friends with me (or should I ommit the word 'super'). We became so close after we both planned her wedding and did a lot of errands ourselves. I can't remember when was the last time I saw her because so many things happened. You know, sometimes, there are petty fights in the family which affects people but those are normal things. I guess we both just let some things cool down before meeting each other again. We made the habit of just commenting and messaging on Facebook and we agreed to meet with the kids.

She has a daughter. Her sister and her brother stays in her house as well because it's vacation. So we decided to watch Vong Navarro's movie which terribly disappointed me, but made me spend a long time with them. I feel happy whenever the kids are laughing (do I still have to call them kids?).

It was already past 6 PM when the movie was finished and I need to leave at 8 PM to catch the train (because I will travel for 3 hours). So Ate Mitch asked me to have some coffee before I go since we didn't chat that much yet. We went to the nearby coffee shop around Glorietta 4 to have some snack (which will be our dinner too --feeling figure conscious) and it was already past 7pm when we reached it so we did a lot of catching up (reminding myself that I just have one hour left).

Too bad, time's short. I was really hoping to bond with them a bit more. Gotta go home, though. Pffffft!

The Commencement

So definitely, our family is on the top of the world this day because at last (!), the long years of spending money for school will be over. Rv is my brother. He's a Psychology Major and he's the youngest. And I can't help but think that today, he didn't finish the hardest part of his life but the easiest. Because the hardest part of life is yet to come. So maybe these new professionals are kinda' excited for their life trip. Well there is a lot to be excited for. But when you get there, you'll realize that it's better to be just at school after all. Not to sound negative though, I mean... I didn't mean to be negative. It's fun to work. It's fun. But it's more fun at school (most especially when you had a happy school-life).

I had a lot of classes so I found it difficult to make time to fix myself so I did my makeup while having classes. Yes! Multi-tasking indeed. It's hard to put a liqiud-eyeliner when you are speaking but mind you, I am used to it (even if I am in a moving vehicle :p).

And to boost a little confidence (because I think I am loosing mine after having such a terrible illness from viruses who hated smooth skin so much they had to destroy it, [chickenpox]), I took some selfies.

Yay! My scars are invisible with this  camera. I love it! (hohoho)

And seeing me taking pictures, these two crazy girls joined. (Haha!)

So I went straight there after work and had to blend with the terrible crowd in the MRT. I regret not having a stroll in Cubao when I had the time because I was lost in the malls. Yeah, I have this quirk of being lost whenever I am in a new place because I am terribly slow when it comes to figures so technically, spaces and figures look all different to me and I need to be there for at least five times before memorizing it.

My sister told me that they are staying in Mc. Donalds and good thing there is only one there. Haha! I am such a clever girl! I know where Mc. Donalds is (*evil laugh*). So I got there. She's with my friend, Jun, who we asked to drive (because my driving skills are terribly bad at the moment added to the fact that I am such a dumb at places) and they had lunch there. I terribly wanted to have some coffee and a doughnut and so we went to the nearby Dunkin Donuts (which is one of my favorites).

We had to wait for long hours because the ceremony will be finished at 5 PM (?) and it's just 3 PM. So Berlin asked us to have a little stroll in the area because she's too sleepy (she's from her night-shift work and didn't have a bit of a sleep yet). And since we are voracious readers, we went to our favorite National Bookstore branch where everything's cheap! (Oyeah!)

And headed back to the parking lot because Miss Sleepyhead badly wanted to take a nap.

So me and Jun kept ourselves busy with soundtripping and this! >_<

Beep beep! A message from RV's brother told me the ceremonies over! Oh no! She texted late! So we rushed in the place and tried finding them. I want to take pictures of them together. I really hope they haven't left yet.

A little story. My brother's classmates became friends with me when (I can't remember when but) they asked me to teach them in a speech choir recital they will be having for their final (or midterm?) exam. After all the practice sessions we had, I saw how cool they all were (and the rest is history). I became their (official) grammarian whenever they had research (thesis) projects, so aside from their families, I am also one of those people who are (sentimentally) happy for them this day.

Found just a few of them though ( I just buried my thoughts of taking a picture of the boys because only a few of them showed up, the rest already left.)

And I bumped with these awesome course mates (English Majors).

(Alas, wasn't able to find those who I badly want to see.) But I came across with this super cute neighbor who is just my brother's age. I remember them playing in our yard on their elementary days and look at him now. Quite grown up eh?

So we headed home but decided to have a dinner somewhere first. It's hard to find a restaurant because it's crowded everywhere this night. So we just had dinner in a Pizza Hut branch in Trinoma where the service and the food disappointed me. Grr...

Oh. and here's my brother, btw.

Got home late. So another three hours of sleep before heading to work tomorrow.
